Being a PowerPoint expert I volunteered for several church related presentations. Here are two examples: |

I can't remember the exact date anymore - I guess it was in May 2004 - when the kids in our Sunday School had prepared paintings related to the song 'God of the Sparrows'. The 'Men of Song' planned to perform it during one of the next Sunday services. Quickly the idea was born to combine our litle performance with the the nice pictures of the joungsters. The slightly 'tricky' task here was not only to synchronize the PowerPoint projection to the song but to make sure that every single little 'piece of art' was integrated and shown at least partially for a moment. In the end it was a lot of fun - and worked perfectly, at least with the original PowerPoint version. This Flash convertion is a good example for some limitations of the iSpring module: While regular slide transitions and animations mirror alost exactly the original material, more complex procedures like path animations of high-resolution pictures (which require more computing capacity) don't run very smoothly. iSpring also does not convert the original time coding very well. But in this case, with no background song to hear anyway, - it does not really matter, does it? To start the presentation please click on the big blue planet, our earth. |

This presentation was done for the Easter Service 2006 as a slow paced slight show. The pictures where illuminating a special music selection and encouraged personal reflection of the resurrection. The following Flash version is currently the only one with sound (adjustable via the speaker button in the iSpring task bar). It also does not start automatically - please click on the button with the two right pointing triangles (= 'next slide'). |

I recently designed this book cover for him based on some material seen in the presentation above. We haven't decided for the back picture yet - so here are some alternatives. Which one would you pick?
